Choose between a stroke explanation and a match pattern

A table-tennis recording can answer different questions: why a forehand feels awkward, how rallies develop, or which stroke dominates a match. SportArc, SpinCoach and Racquet AI approach those decisions differently. The table above links to their profiles, where current plan terms and source dates are maintained.

SportArc

SportArc brings three connected activities together: examining a selected action, understanding a match, and trimming recordings into rally clips. Its AI Coach reconstructs supported table-tennis movement in 3D and pairs the view with observations about technique. The user chooses a stroke, selects the impact moment and identifies the player. This gives a club player a way to revisit a specific movement rather than receive only a general training response. Joint measures and movement stages provide concrete points to discuss with a coach.

Match Review answers a broader question. Placement maps, shot and phase statistics, and written observations help explain the recorded contest. Motion Compare separately aligns two movements, while Auto Cut removes gaps from supported racket-sport recordings. SportArc therefore suits players who want both practice feedback and a match library. Its tennis and badminton cutting support should not be confused with AI coaching for those sports. Clear body visibility and a fixed match camera remain important.

SpinCoach

SpinCoach concentrates on how the body produces the stroke. It advertises tracking of seventeen joints, recognition of common strokes, and correction cues attached to the relevant movement. Hip rotation, shoulder separation, elbow position and knee flexion are more central to its presentation than a full match-placement map. The public analysis screen exposes playback controls alongside biomechanics readouts, making its intended unit of review a movement in a clip.

The visual feedback distinguishes the observed problem from the suggested correction, with drills intended to carry that observation into practice. This is useful for someone trying to understand one recurring mechanical issue rather than account for every point in a tournament. The membership structure separates a small recurring free allowance from paid analysis, and places progress and live coaching in the higher tier. Its marketing improvement figures do not establish how an individual player will progress. The product is best read as structured movement feedback alongside coaching judgment.

Racquet AI

Racquet AI organizes the same sport around rally structure and stroke distribution. The Aristar AI Labs product separates a submitted video into rallies, counts forehands and backhands, and presents how much time is spent in each position. Its web interface includes a rally table and charts, connecting the overall balance of play to individual exchanges. The Android description also advertises strength and weakness observations, coaching advice and recommended training videos.

This makes Racquet AI relevant when the question is whether a match repeatedly funnels play toward one wing or exposes a recurring pattern. The output is easier to connect to shot-selection practice than to a detailed three-dimensional body reconstruction. Its capture instructions are unusually specific: the complete table should be visible and the analyzed player should stand on the far side from the camera. That matters for opponents who change ends. The public workflow requires Google sign-in, and reviewed pages leave numeric charges and analysis allowances unconfirmed.

Technique detail versus match context

SportArc offers the broadest documented bridge between an action and a full contest: AI Coach addresses the stroke, while Match Review addresses placement and phases. SpinCoach makes joint-level correction the center of the experience. Racquet AI emphasizes counts, duration and patterns inside rallies. A player working on elbow or hip movement will ask different questions of these outputs than someone trying to understand a backhand-heavy match. More reported statistics do not automatically mean a better explanation of a technical fault.

What each recording workflow asks of you

SportArc asks the player to identify the action and impact frame for technique review, then uses a separate fixed-camera workflow for matches. SpinCoach starts with a phone clip and highlights visible mechanics. Racquet AI explicitly depends on far-side positioning in its web instructions. SportArc is consequently attractive for a mixed practice-and-match archive, SpinCoach for short stroke clips, and Racquet AI for suitably positioned match recordings. Their capture assumptions are a substantive difference, especially when choosing footage already recorded by another person.

Access and the useful paid boundary

SportArc lists monthly and annual Plus purchases in the US store, but the reviewed material does not settle a universal free analysis allowance. SpinCoach publishes one free clip per month and separates Pro from Club. Racquet AI lists in-app purchases without a verified numeric rate. These are three different levels of pricing transparency. Choose the feature boundary you need: SportArc combines several review modes, SpinCoach makes ongoing technique work its paid focus, and Racquet AI needs further commercial confirmation for repeated use.

Which one fits your next session?

Use SportArc when you want movement feedback and match context together. Favor SpinCoach for a focused mechanics-and-drills workflow. Consider Racquet AI for rally-level forehand/backhand patterns when your camera position matches its instructions. None of these descriptions is a measured ranking of coaching effectiveness.
