Three reasons to analyze a badminton recording

A badminton recording can support technique practice, save review time by removing gaps between rallies, or provide a session a coach can revisit. BadmintonPeak, ShuttleClip and UNFORCE serve those needs differently. This comparison focuses on badminton footage, rather than repeating a general racket-sport ranking or assuming tennis measurements transfer to a shuttle and a badminton court.

BadmintonPeak

BadmintonPeak combines video analysis with badminton courses and an assistant called Coach Peak. Its offer connects shot and movement observations to a progression of learning material, making it relevant to players who want structured practice after seeing their footage. The product is not simply a clip exporter.

Plan selection changes the length of the input as well as the available minutes. Essential supports short two-minute sequences; Basic extends sequences to five minutes; Pro offers full-match analysis with a larger monthly video allowance. Course access, processing priority, progression tracking and assistant messages also differ. A player reviewing one serve sequence needs a different allocation from a coach uploading matches.

The live pricing table currently lists specific Coach Peak message counts and a free video allowance that differ from older indexed text. Those current details take priority. BadmintonPeak is the best fit here when the desired output includes both an analysis and a structured learning path, rather than only shorter footage.

ShuttleClip

ShuttleClip turns a long badminton recording into rallies that can be reviewed and exported. AI detects boundaries around play; the editor then lets the user correct those boundaries, split clips, reorder segments and combine highlights from multiple videos. This makes it useful for coaches sharing selected exchanges or players reviewing a match without its pauses.

The processing model is unusually clear. The source temporarily uploads for AI analysis, but final cutting and export use the original video locally in the browser. Reviewing, editing and exporting do not consume more credits. The charge follows the started minutes of source footage sent for analysis, not the length of the eventual highlight reel.

ShuttleClip accepts common phone/video formats within published duration and file-size limits. It is a badminton-specific segmentation and editing workflow, not a joint-angle coach or a validated shuttle-speed system. Choose it for finding and communicating the relevant footage, with manual corrections when a boundary needs adjustment.

UNFORCE

UNFORCE provides a shared session-review workflow across several racket sports, including badminton. Its current capability table specifically lists badminton stroke recognition and saved review, with labels such as serve, clear, smash, drop, lift, drive and net shot. Connected coaches can review sessions and add notes through an accepted invitation.

The sport-specific limitations are more useful than its broad multi-sport headline. Badminton court mapping is limited, distance and movement outputs may be unavailable, and shuttle-speed measurement is not validated. A playable tennis example on the homepage therefore does not establish identical badminton analysis. The service is explicit that a supported label is not a promise to identify every shot correctly.

UNFORCE fits players who want recordings, supported stroke observations and coach communication kept together. Android is available, while a public iOS release is still pending. Pro and Team offer different video durations, analysis counts and seats, so the coaching relationship and expected footage volume should guide the plan.

Coaching, rally reels or session review?

BadmintonPeak has the strongest explicit connection between analysis and course progression. ShuttleClip has the clearest editing workflow for producing rallies and shareable highlight reels. UNFORCE has the clearest named connection between saved review, badminton stroke labels and coach notes. They overlap in using match footage, but they do not deliver the same artifact.

For a player wanting a lesson after a technique clip, BadmintonPeak is more directly aligned. For a club wanting to send a concise selection of exchanges, ShuttleClip removes much of the editing friction. For an ongoing player-coach review process, UNFORCE's session structure is the more relevant distinction.

How recording length changes the choice

BadmintonPeak's entry plan handles short sequences, while its higher tiers extend the analysis scope. ShuttleClip accepts source recordings up to sixty minutes and charges each started minute. UNFORCE publishes up to thirty minutes per Pro video and up to 120 minutes for Team. A long match can therefore change both eligibility and cost.

ShuttleClip does not charge again for the reel you export from that recording. BadmintonPeak sells monthly analysis minutes alongside lessons; UNFORCE sells an analysis count and plan-specific duration. Comparing only a price per month would hide these different units of use.

Free access and billed periods

BadmintonPeak publishes an Essential monthly price, while its visible Basic and Pro rates are annual monthly equivalents with the yearly charge stated separately. ShuttleClip's new-account credits expire after thirty days; subscription credits do not roll over, while purchased packs do not expire. UNFORCE's seven-day trial depends on eligibility and renews into a paid plan.

The table keeps those terms separate. In particular, BadmintonPeak's live free allowance does not establish its reset cadence, and a ShuttleClip signup credit is not an ongoing free monthly tier. UNFORCE's web and store prices also require checking the actual purchase channel.

Which should you choose?

Choose BadmintonPeak when video review should lead into lessons and guided progression. Choose ShuttleClip when the useful outcome is a corrected rally selection or highlight reel. Choose UNFORCE when saved badminton footage and coach notes are the priority, accepting its current court-mapping limits and Android-first public availability.
